My top 3 health habits are…
The sport I practice regularly is... I used to run a lot, but at the moment my health prevents me from doing so, so I switched to yoga. I try to do it every morning and evening. I used to have to force myself to do it, but my back problems made yoga a habit.
My body and mind are relaxed after yoga, which translates into better management of my team at work. During the pandemic, people from the team approached me with their fears and dark thoughts. My task was to support these people, but also to drive away bad thoughts from myself. Yoga and meditation helped me a lot with this.
I spend about 14 hours a week on physical activity . What's important - I don't give up even on holidays, because I know it would take me a long time to get back into the rhythm.
What motivates me to practice yoga regularly is... spine health and better well-being. Due to the very stressful work, morning practice helps me relax and smoothly enter the rest of the day.
I meditate because... it gives me an open mind, inner peace, a flow of creative thoughts and solutions to problems that seem impossible to solve.
My diet is… anti-inflammatory, excluding dairy and gluten and limiting meat. I am a woman with endometriosis and I had to research how to live with it - it turns out that diet plays the main role. Drinking herbs and matcha is very good for me, which I discovered a few years ago and I drink it all the time with coconut milk.
I end the day with... a pleasant ritual for body and soul. I brew herbs in my favorite teapot, light candles, turn off all sources of blue light, sit in a blanket with a face mask and read a book. This is my calming ritual.
I spend… at least 8 hours sleeping . If this time is less, my immunity automatically decreases.
The thing I do only for myself is... doing photo sessions, thanks to which I meet a lot of interesting people and constantly learn new things. I like to absorb knowledge that I can use later. I don't like stagnation.
My little sins are... sweets, which I have a weakness for, and the fact that sometimes stress takes control of me. Both things are not good for my health, but sometimes I indulge in them.
Happiness for me is... freedom and the ability to decide independently what I want to do. It is also about having people close to me on whom I can always count, and the fact that every day I wake up healthy and can enjoy life at 100%, e.g. by taking photos and sharing stories and curiosities on Instagram.
Luxury for me is... the ability to collect experiences, not material things.
My small, everyday steps in taking care of the planet are... paying attention to packaging in stores, sorting garbage and educating people on trips on this topic, picking up garbage on the trails after others when I am in the mountains.
The advice I would give my 20-year-old self again is… Go in the direction you like, not where you have to. Don't stress about situations you have no control over.
