In an interview with nikalab, Anna Wróbel reveals her 4 daily health habits, talks about her method of meditation and the moment of the day when the body, emotions and mind can meet in one place.

For me, work life balance at this stage of life is... a situation in which my weekly energy balance is neutral or positive. I like it when the energy I give to my loved ones or work is balanced with the energy I devote to rest or doing something just for myself.

My most important daily health habits are…
● Quiet time for yourself. I'm an introvert, so the time when there are no stimuli and I don't have to be constantly on alert opens me up creatively, helps calm my thoughts and find balance.
● I nourish myself with relationships with my loved ones, so every day I find time when I focus only on them.
● I need exercise to function well. It could be a walk or a moment of dancing.
● I listen to my body when it comes to sleep. I used to be a typical owl. Now I fall asleep early and I feel that my body regenerates much better.

The sport I practice regularly is… board games with my son. The absolute minimum is regular physiotherapy and exercises for spine health. It is very important for me to practice sports when it is not another task to be checked off the list. I like to move without the pressure of time or place.

I devote… several hours a week to physical activity .

What motivates me to play sports is... mental and emotional fatigue. Movement is a great way to relieve this. The second motivator is my children - the desire to spend time together actively and build healthy habits.

I meditate in my own way because... there is a constant gallop of thoughts in my head. Classic meditations work when I can consciously turn off my head and the surroundings are favorable, for example while traveling. However, on a daily basis I can calm down while cooking. Recently, I also returned to sports shooting, in which, just like in meditation, calm breathing and letting go of thoughts are important.

My diet is... practically vegan. Recently, after long resistance, I ordered dietary catering on days when I work intensively. This makes my diet more balanced and gives me better energy levels. When I cook, I do it very simply - I rely on a variety of vegetables and fruits, herbs, and I often bake.

I end the day by... dancing with my favorite music in my headphones. For me, this is the moment when body, emotions and mind can meet in one place.

I spend… at least 6 hours sleeping. I'm glad I discovered the power of falling asleep early - it makes my mornings dynamic, with a smile and a fresh mind.

The thing I do only for myself is... a visit to an atmospheric spa or a long, lazy morning (on weekends or on vacation, as a family, we call it pajama day).

My little sins are... evening snacks while watching the cinema at home - wine and cheese.

Happiness for me is... being here and now. Enjoy what I have and not focus on what I don't have. Be in harmonious relationships with people and the environment.

Luxury for me is... time. Referring to my slow morning - luxury for me is the lack of morning rush, the ability to drink coffee and read a book in pajamas.

Small daily steps in taking care of the planet include… family habits, such as turning off the lights, not wasting food, or sorting garbage. I am horrified by how much plastic surrounds us. My children also learned how to "give things a second life", we renovate, remake, give away - it is also great fun.

The advice I would give myself if I was 20 again is... everything will be fine!

The book and podcast I recommend is… I'm currently reading “Rage Becomes Her”. It teaches that facing one's anger is an element of hygiene. As for the podcasts, I recommend "Crazy Nauka" and "Design your life".
