17 pytań do... Katarzyny Godlewskiej, CEO w nikalab.

In an interview with nikalab, Katarzyna Godlewska talks about whether she manages to strike a balance between work and private life, reveals her favorite types of physical activity and shares a podcast that helps her be happier every day.

For me, work-life balance is ... the ability to combine everything that is important to me. Not always in perfect proportions, but still trying to find balance, the definition of which is also constantly changing. What helps me in this is the great flexibility of planning my own time, but of course within the many limitations that life brings.

My top 3 daily health habits are

  • Thinking about food as medicine - I invest in simple, fresh, healthy food, although I must admit that I don't cook much myself.
  • Practicing sports – regularly, diversifying activities.
  • Regular sleep, most often 7-8 hours a day.

I regularly practice sports such as ... yoga, tennis, exercises strengthening various muscle groups - every week. Seasonally: I snowboard and run. Occasionally: a little bit of everything, because many disciplines are simply fun for me.

I spend… 3 hours a week on physical activity . My goal is 6.

My motivation for sports is ... health, both physical and mental, and appearance - I like to feel good in my body.

My relationship with meditation is experimental, but still not a habit of mine. However, since I am aware of all the benefits that meditation brings, I will definitely have more of it in my life in the future, not less.

My diet is ... fresh, simple, healthy and varied food. Very little fish and seafood and even less meat.

I end the day with ... I don't have any evening rituals (yet).

I spend 7-8 hours a day sleeping. If it weren't for the fact that my son likes to get up early, it would be 9.

The thing I do only for myself is ... yoga, tennis - sports in general. This is my time alone, always with the feeling of making good use of it.

My little sins are too much coffee. Often, instead of at home or at work, it's in one of your favorite cafes.

For me, happiness is health, a sense of security, and the presence (not always physical) of loved ones.

For me, luxury is ... health again, which allows me to face challenges every day. The ability to make independent choices, the sense of influence on your everyday life and life.

My small daily steps in taking care of the planet are ... first of all, I try to be conscious. Thanks to this, I know, for example, that glass, still commonly treated as eco-packaging, is not eco-friendly at all. I try to buy products in the most ecological packaging possible, without unnecessary excess. Segregates garbage. I drink tap water. I live in the city and I try to walk more and more.

The advice I would give myself if I were 20 again is ... maybe just worry less?

The podcast I listen to and recommend is The Happiness Lab, which has already had its 4th season. Based on the latest scientific research, the professor from Yale University debunks many myths and talks about how to be happier.
The publisher does not conduct medical activities.
