Katarzyna Kluk w rozmowie z nikalab opowiada, czym jest dla niej szczęście

In an interview with nikalab, Katarzyna Kluk talks about why she believes that there are no "little sins", reveals what things she does only for herself, and explains why she does not need motivation for sports.

For me, work life balance is... simply a good life. Listening to yourself, your body and intuition. I try to maintain balance during the day, but it is not always possible. There are periods in my life when I have a lot of work, business meetings, trips or activities outside the home with other people, and after such a time I always need to be alone with myself or with my loved ones at home or close to nature for balance.

My three most important daily health habits are… meditation, a balanced diet and exercise.

The sports I practice regularly are… Latin dancing and yoga. I like live yoga with Shibani at the Garden Club, and when I don't have time, I practice with Boho Beautiful, which has yoga recordings for everyone on YouTube, from the most beautiful places in the world. In general, I really like sports and I change my activities often. Recently I started playing padel, which I like very much. From time to time I go to Qi Gong and Tai Chi classes, run and ride a bike, because I live close to the forest.

I spend about 7 hours a week on physical activity .

I don't need motivation for sports because... I like exercise. Sitting in one place for too long, e.g. in front of a computer, and not moving makes me tired - I feel it as stress for my body.

Meditation... gives me inner peace, grounding and activates my creativity. I do this regularly, every morning.

My diet is based on... eating everything, but I watch what I eat. I rarely eat meat, and relatively little dairy and gluten. However, if I feel like eating something less healthy, I eat it and I don't blame myself that I shouldn't. My main assumption related to nutrition is to listen to your body.

I end the day by… reading books, listening to podcasts, and often meditating. I turn on some restorative music and fall asleep.

I spend… 7-8 hours sleeping.

The thing that I do only for myself is... I do a lot of things just for myself, including all of the above. I also go to Mrs. Ania's Holistic Garden for a body massage. I play the piano and sing - few people know about it because I do it only for myself.

I don't have any small sins because... I don't feel guilty. For example, when I feel like eating something sweet, I eat it and I don't throw it away, even if it's not the healthiest thing.

Happiness for me is... a sense of peace, fulfillment and love, as well as the belief that I am in the right place and at the right time with people who are close to me, family and friends.

Luxury for me is... the ability to implement all or most of the ideas and needs I have. There are a lot of things on my “to do” list and I would like to have the time and opportunity to experience them in my life.

My small daily steps in taking care of the planet are… first of all, mindfulness. It's not just about the habit of sorting waste, which I hope we all follow, or turning off the lights we don't need, but about being attentive and taking care of the people, animals and plants around us in our everyday lives.

The advice I would give myself if I were 20 again is... trust yourself - your intuition. Don't rush and fight so much, because it stresses and tenses the body, limiting sensation. You will find all the answers to your questions within yourself.

The book I read and recommend is... " Healing Trauma" by Peter Levine. I have recommended it to friends, family and even clients this year.

The publisher does not conduct medical activities.
