Lidia Kołucka mówi o tym, że medytacja jest dla niej bardzo ważna

In an interview with nikalab, Lidia Kołucka talks about whether she believes in work life balance, why she lowered the temperature at home by 1.5 degrees and how meditation helps her.

How are you? Very good thank you!

Work life balance for me is ... something I don't fully believe in. It is very important to me that my work makes sense to me. I like to be aware that I am making some changes professionally, both in the world around us and in my life. But my work is an important part of life and I do it with pleasure.

My 3 most important daily health habits are

  • Long walks with the dog.
  • 10 minutes of Pilates and various stretching exercises.
  • I try to sleep enough - it is very important for me to do it well. I always make sure to sleep in a well-ventilated, cool and clean room. I know from experience that lack of sleep is completely destructive.

This daily set helps me stay fit and has a positive impact on my development.

The sport I practice regularly is ... cycling, long walks with my son in the forest, which additionally helps us integrate with nature. I am an injured person, so my sports opportunities are limited, but without my daily dose of walking and pilates it would be difficult.

I spend up to 2 hours a week on physical activity , but this does not include walking, which I spend up to an hour a day on.

My motivation for sport ... is good love for myself, and since I like myself very much, I would like my body to function well for as long as possible. I know how important it is to be able to take care not only of yourself, but also of your loved ones.

My attitude towards meditation is ... very warm. Calming my head and focusing on what is happening inside me is very important to me. This look inside ourselves, depending on what stage of meditation skills we are at, is not that simple. My beginnings were very difficult and it took me a long time to reach the stage I am at now, but I can confidently say that meditation is an important element of my life and I cultivate it very much.

My diet is based on ... vegetables and fruit. I am not a vegan, but I try to eliminate meat from my diet. I don't always succeed because I'm anemic and sometimes I just have to eat them, but I really don't like it. The products I choose in my kitchen are friendly to the world because I make sure they are low-emission. I really believe in local products.

I end the day by winding down. I try to cut myself off from all stimuli, the computer, the phone or strong light. I go into the night and sleep completely calm, which helps a lot in falling asleep.

I spend at least 7 hours sleeping.

The thing I do only for myself is ... a difficult question, because even if I do something out of love only for myself, sooner or later it turns into care for others.

My little sins are sweets, but especially chocolate.

Happiness for me is ... a sense of fulfillment.

For me, luxury is ... the ability to make my dreams come true.

My small daily steps in taking care of the planet are

  • Lowering the temperature at home by 1.5 degrees, which I consistently monitor.
  • 99% of the time I shower, not bathe.
  • I limit my meat consumption.
  • I try to use public transport or bike.
  • I monitor energy efficiency, i.e. how much electricity is used in my home.

The advice I would give myself if I was 20 again is ... don't be afraid, have no regrets and be brave.

A book/podcast that I recently read/listened to and recommend is ...

  • "Błyskawica" is an interview with Mrs. Wanda Traczyk Stawska, which gives three pieces of advice: love until the grave, laughter and order 31. To find out what it is, you need to read this book.
  • “Re-educated.” The author is a former columnist in the Financial Times who changed her life by fulfilling her dream - she became a mathematics teacher at school. This is a very good book that shows that it is never too late for anything in life.

However, the podcasts I listen to are very technical and most often energy-related topics. I highly recommend myenergy2050.com podcasts.

The publisher does not conduct medical activities.
